HNTB Senior Multimodal Transporation Planner in Baltimore, Maryland
What We're Looking For
The time is now to join HNTB! We're seeking a Senior Multimodal Transportation Planner in our Washington, D.C. office.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Provide transit and complete streets planning services for transit agencies, state agencies, cities and counties.
Collect and analyze project related information that could include independent research, interviews with government agencies and clients, and map reviews, .
Participate in the development of categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, environmental impact studies, corridor studies, and other technical reports.
Prepare for and participate in public information meetings and hearings.
Coordinate and interface with the project team members during the course of a project.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- RLA, RA, PE registration or AICP, CEP certification
What You'll Need
Performs various project supports tasks where planning involvement is required or requested on major, complex projects.
Assists leadership with implementation of office-wide technical standards and maintenance of technical resources.
Prepares scopes of work, fee proposals and assists with responses to RFP’s.
Directs technical aspects of multiple and large-scale planning projects and teams.
Directs, coordinates, and reviews technical work performed by other project team members.
Performs quality checks to ensure client requirements are met.
Responsible for significant portions of presentations and public facilitation.
Oversees the work of less experienced staff. Assists in directing teams for medium to large scale projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning or related field
10 years related experience
8 years related experience (with Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning or related field)
