HNTB Engineer III - Hydraulics/Drainage in Bellevue, Washington
What We're Looking For
Within a given discipline, is fully competent to complete engineering-related tasks including research, development, calculations, design and delivery with minimal direction. On tasks basis, is responsible for preparation and completion of discipline engineering efforts that are responsive to project needs. Coordinates preparation of design details, plans, and drawings within assigned task areas.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Seattle/Bellevue office

Water Resource/Green Infrastructure Project Engineer
Focus on delivery of hydraulic design for WSDOT fish passage projects in Northwest Region (NWR), and other projects/clients.
Cost control on projects and quality control within discipline
Planning, design and construction phases of projects
Completeness and accuracy of design team work
Responsible for production of stormwater/green infrastructure plans, quantities, cost estimates, construction administration and final specifications
Coordinate efforts of assigned design team to ensure completeness and accuracy of design effort
Technical liaison with client for work within the discipline
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience in water resources
PE in Washington
Experience in Microsoft Office software
Experience with MicroStation, Civil 3D, ArcGIS
Experience in HEC-RAS, Storm Shed, HY-8, SRH-2D
What You'll Need
Responsible for completion of discipline engineering project elements such as reports, designs, specifications and plans.
Responsible for coordination and productivity of subordinates. Provides technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
Works closely with other disciplines and multi-discipline projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
