HNTB Senior Inspector in Bellevue, Washington
What We're Looking For
Provides senior proficiency level inspection work to monitor compliance with engineering/architectural plans and specifications.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Monitor contractor's activities on a daily basis.
Monitor construction activities for safety, including traffic control, pedestrian safety, and worker safety.
Review contractor's work for conformance with plans, and city/state standards.
Review and monitor materials used by contractor against approved materials list.
Review contractor's traffic control for compliance with approved plans.
Develop detailed daily report of observed field conditions and conversations.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- 8 years of experience in inspection of public works projects
What You'll Need
Assesses contractor activities including: inspection, proper installation sequencing, schedule compliance, and contract requirements.
Assists in review and modification of schedules, specifications, and drawings in order to identify basic construction or engineering problems.
Recommends and applies standard construction techniques and procedures in order to resolve identified problems.
Coordinates the activities of survey team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
8 years construction experience unless otherwise required by state provisions
