HNTB e-Builder Administrator / Business Analyst II in Charlotte, North Carolina

What We're Looking For

The time is now to join HNTB! We're seeking an e-Builder Administrator/Business Analyst to join our Charlotte, NC office.

Primary Focus Will Include:

  • Documents results of discussions regarding business requirements and procedures.

  • Creates new workflow business processes and revises existing processes based on discussions, documented requirements, and contractual documents.

  • Executes user acceptance testing of major changes (e.g. new structured workflow)

  • Develops training documentation, how-to-guides and tips/tricks newsletter

  • Provides end user support and addresses help desk tickets

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • A 4-year degree inConstruction Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Business or related field.

  • Knowledge of construction industry including methodology, terminology, workflow of design and construction activities as well as demonstrated knowledge of contract documents and specifications.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the staff within the City and project vendors/stakeholders

  • e-Builder Certified Professional (eBCP)

  • 2 years of e-Builder administrator experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop creative solutions

What You'll Need

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Documents results of discussions regarding project requirements and procedures. Drafts project procedures based on discussions, documented requirements, and contractual documents.

  • Builds workflow diagrams to support modeling of business processes and development of procedures.

  • Drafts project procedures based on input from project team and other Business Analysts.

  • Develops training documents. Provides training to project staff.

  • May act in system administrator role on projects of low to moderate complexity.

  • Supports more experienced Business Analysts in all functions and responsibilities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Information Technology or Business

  • 2 years related experience

  • In lieu of education, 6 years IT business process analysis and/or project controls experience
