What We're Looking For Assists assigned department by performing basic engineering-related tasks including research, development, design and delivery on assigned project(s).

Primary Focus Will Include:

• Complex communications network design plans for regional traffic signal and ITS systems, utilizing fiber optic interconnect, multiple types of wireless technology, and ethernet network equipment

• ITS and ATMS devices and deployments

• Traditional traffic signal installations

• Connected Vehicle technologies

• Perform quantity estimates, detailing and check calculations and drawings

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Hands on experience deploying, configurating, or testing traffic signal and/or ITS equipment and associated communications networks

• Relevant experience as intern or co-op (traffic, electrical, or mechanical systems)

• EIT

Essential Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects.

• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
