HNTB Field/Office Architect/Engineer in Denver, Colorado
What We're Looking For
Entry level professional graduate architect working under supervision in the production and completion of design and construction documents through the gathering of information, organization of data and application to documents.
Performs field coordination with emphasis placed upon construction design conformance. This includes coordination with the DEN Quality Assurance team for validation of the General Contractor’s Quality Control Plan. The Field/Office Engineer responsibilities includes inspection of design quality standards, materials, equipment, processes, and product.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Perform field coordination work on the Great Hall project, which includes reviewing construction plans and designs for conformance.
Developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems.
Assist with QA inspections.
Review codes, specifications, processes, and DEN standards.
Review QA inspector daily reports.
Review and monitor Contractor CCD permits.
Assisting with coordination of permit closeout with Contractor and AHJ.
Perform daily and/or weekly inspections of the BIM 360 Field Issues.
Work with contractor to ensure completion and conformance of BIM 360 Field Issues.
Perform daily and/or weekly inspections of AOR/EOR conformance issues.
Work with contractor to ensure completion and conformance of AOR/EOR conformance issues.
Monitor specification closeout deliverables (i.e. O&M, Submittals, Attic Stock)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry or similar field.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Revit skills strongly preferred

What You'll Need
Plans and conducts tasks requiring independent judgment in the analysis of design, planning and occupancy studies and design layouts.
Performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for project assignments.
Assists in the preparation of project specifications compiling and analyzing relevant data.
Confers with other architects and engineers for the purpose of explaining and interpreting architectural standards, codes or regulations.
Prepares progress reports and keeps others informed.
Actively participates in quality implementation plans, including scheduling QC reviews and compiling comments into project documents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
