HNTB Sr. Technical Advisor in Denver, Colorado
What We're Looking For
The Sr. Technical Advisor will provide expertise relating to PTC and Rail Systems projects. Provides senior-level technical expertise to assigned large and complex projects. Provides independent technical review of selected projects. Provides significant breadth and depth of technical experience relating to PTC and other rail systems. Provides technical interface with clients. Provides technical mentorship to staff.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Managing PTC Contractors on behalf of a rail transit agency
Work with and report progress to the FRA
Trace test results back to project requirements to ensure all project requirements (including safety requirements) have been met
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
20+ Years of Commuter or Freight Rail Experience
Skilled at navigating the complexities associated with a field environment on a Rail Project
Experience working directly with the FRA
Experience managing the testing and reporting on a safety critical system
Ability to work directly with clients and guide them through technical challenges
Strong Rail Safety Background
Strong Quality Assurance Background
What You'll Need
Provides technical guidance as requested on complex or unusual engineering projects. Provides direction to resolve technical issues.
Provides technical assistance, leadership, mentoring, and support for management and staff.
Technical liaison to clients.
Provides independent technical review, makes recommendations as requested.
Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
