This opportunity entails operating and maintaining a variety of surveying equipment, instruments, and software, including robotic total stations, global positioning systems, data collection devices, and point processing software.

What You’ll Do:

Maintains survey equipment.
Checks Crew Chief's calculations.
Operates survey instruments and equipment for field surveys.
Collects and documents and records field data.
Loads and operates survey instruments to conduct survey activities.
Assists in field maintenance of survey tools, equipment and vehicles.
Records accurate notes of survey data collection process.
Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

HS/GED
Valid driver's license

What We Prefer:

1 year of previous experience in surveying or related field. Knowledge of INDOT codes
Willingness to travel. Willingness to work outside in all temperatures and a variety of terrain such as creeks, rivers, steep hills, and bridge embankments. Assist help to the Survey Crew Chief.
