HNTB Financial Manager - Tolling in Indianapolis, Indiana
What We're Looking For
HNTB provides tolling advisory services to the states of Indiana and Kentucky with the goal of improving toll operations on the Ohio River Bridges. We are seeking to add a financial manager to our team. The new position will provide analytical services that contribute a financial perspective to the States’ decision-making process.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Assist in monitoring and auditing services related to toll collections.
Work closely with the States' financial staff to assess ad-hoc financial issues as they arise. Potential topics include cash management, electronic payments, management of accounts receivables, collections, and the processing of payments between tolling agencies.
Provide financial analyses, prepare recommendations, and provide reporting services necessary for making informed decisions.
Enhance the project’s strategic planning and performance measurement efforts while providing services that contribute to the preparation and review of annual financial reports.
Serve as the States’ liaison to the project’s Revenue Control Manager.
Assist the States in transitioning to a new back office system, with a focus on ensuring that the new system meets their financial reporting needs.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
7 years financial analysis experience
Master's degree may be substituted for (2) years of experience.
CPA license preferred, but not required
What You'll Need
Supports planning activities such as assisting in the development of feasibility studies, assessments, concept of operations documents, procurement documents such as requests for proposal for toll systems and operations.
Supports toll system implementation including support for oversight of design, testing, installation.
Supports toll system operations oversight consulting.
Supports project control activities related to toll technology projects led by or involving the NTTCP.
Provides general analysis support for cost estimates or other projections related to advisory work.
Prepares information for or in response to client presentations and meetings, including support for development of planning materials such as agendas and/or documentation such as meeting minutes.
Leads project analyst type of work supporting NTTCP project budgets (internal or for client), project status, and general support, reporting results to Director or designees as assigned by Director.
Prepares budget summaries and labor tracking reports as directed.
Assists project managers with preparation of project review materials.
Provides direction to Toll Technology Analyst on limited basis and in accordance with tasks assigned by senior staff.
Inputs labor projections, RLF and similar data as required internal to HNTB and at direction of project.
Supports general data requests of leader, project managers or task leads on request.
Completes major assignments of defined scope internal to team requiring self-monitoring, gathering of input from team members and progress reporting to leaders.
Directs client communication on a limited basis in advisory role based on direction and oversight by senior toll technology consulting staff and limited to areas of expertise recognized internally.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Accounting/Finance, Planning, Business or related field
5 years related experience
In lieu of education, 9 years related experience
