HNTB Instrument Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana
What We're Looking For
Provides accurate survey measurement through reading survey instruments and accurate recording of field data.
Primary Focus Will Include:
The operation of land surveying equipment, using Trimble Surveying Robotics, GPS and collectors.
The ability to work out of town under the supervision of a survey crew chief.
The ability to walk long distances.
The ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
The ability to work in outside weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
What You'll Need
Responsible for maintaining survey equipment.
Checks Party Chief's calculations.
Operates survey equipment for field surveys.
Accurately documents and records field data.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
2 years related experience
Knowledge of geometric and trigonometric calculations and theory
