HNTB Project Surveyor in Indianapolis, Indiana
What We're Looking For
Provides coordination of project execution and control in the survey and right of way section to achieve continuity of purpose within scope, budget, and time schedules from initial start-up through final design. Also accountable for handling specific design aspects on projects appropriate to his/her discipline field. Coordinates efforts of assigned design team to ensure completeness and accuracy of design effort. Serves as technical liaison with client on project efforts as required.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Right of Way Engineering production and review
Route surveying production and review
Project Management and staff management
Analyzing existing right of way, alignments, plans and property lines
Scheduling and preparation of scope and fees
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Indiana Professional Land Surveyor License
What You'll Need
Essential Responsibilities:
Analyzes title work and record documents in conjunction with field survey data to establish property lines and existing rights of way.
Production of INDOT right of way engineering parcels.
Supervises production of INDOT right of way engineering parcels and route survey plats.
Conducts QA/QC of right of way engineering parcels and route survey plats.
Training and mentoring of staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
6 years progressive experience on design projects with route survey and right of way engineering experience
All jurisdictional certifications as required
