This opportunity entails being responsible for the direction and supervision of a professional or technical, right of way section. Has responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple right of way projects. Coordinates project priorities, staffing schedules, and staff assignments to ensure clients are provided the capabilities to meet their needs. Responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and maintenance of technical programs in right of way and efficient, productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provides technical and operational supervision to a section of professionals in technical discipline area.

  • Ensures the technical, administrative, direct labor and schedule targets for the section are met.

  • Responsible for the management, performance, growth and professional development of discipline-specific section. Coordinates section activities establishes priorities and staff to jobs.

  • Builds strong client relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging those relationships to generate opportunities for new work.

  • Recruits, hires, develops and retains section staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience,

  • In lieu of degree, 12 years of relevant experience

What We Prefer:

  • Master’s degree in land survey or civil engineering

  • 10 years practical experience in right of way

  • 2 years supervisory experience
