What We're Looking For
Provides senior-level technical expertise to assigned large and complex projects. Provides independent technical review of selected projects. Provides significant breadth and depth of technical experience in a specific area. Provides technical interface with clients. Provides technical mentorship to staff.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Serving as a technical expert on complex roadway, geometrics, and maintenance of traffic projects
Leading, developing and mentoring of younger engineering staff
Coordinating with project teams to set design criteria
Coordinating with INDOT District staff, Central Office staff and FHWA on technical aspects of projects
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Extensive INDOT Experience
16+ Years of Industry Experience
What You'll Need
Performs independent technical reviews, makes recommendations, and provides technical guidance as requested on complex or unusual engineering projects. Provides direction to resolve technical issues as requested.
Provides technical expertise and advice to project leadership, and mentoring/support to production staff.
Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation on complex or unusual engineering projects within discipline.
Coordinates technical aspects with client counterpart and teaming partners at local leadership level for work within and across disciplines on complex or unusual engineering projects.
Develops and advises on technical consistency within and across disciplines on processes and projects.
Ensures same standard and practices are being applied.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience
Master’s degree in Engineering and 11 year of relevant experience
PhD in Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience
