HNTB Sr. Project Manager Construction in Los Angeles, California
What We're Looking For
Responsible for coordination and monitoring of overall field construction administration activities and/or management engineering services on projects of a diverse nature in accordance with design specifications to assure that construction projects are completed in compliance with the drawings and specifications, within budget, and on schedule. In absence of Construction Project Manager, serves as the senior company representative at the construction site with responsibility for ensuring that construction proceeds in accordance with design and contractual documents.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Conduct quality audits and surveillance reports of Design Builder, PCM, ICE, and ISE operations.
Participate and assist the agency while conducting quality audits and respond to findings of agency Audit Reports.
Review of the Design-Builder’s Quality Manual, Quality Management Plan, and Inspection and Testing Plan
Implementation of the PCM Quality Assurance Plan including an Independent Quality Management System and Statistical Sampling and Testing Plans.
Providing input and administrative support as required to the Authority’s Continuous Improvement and Lessons Learned Program.
Support the development and implementation of the PCM V&V Oversight Plan (VVOP) and Self Certification Oversight Plan which includes:
The PCM team shall identify, define and oversee the inputs, outputs, tools, methods and processes, roles and responsibilities for overseeing the Design-Builder and the Independent Checking Engineer and Independent Site engineer.
Implement the VVOP consistent with the policies of the Authority and the Design-Build contract requirements.
Additionally, the PCM team will refine related processes as deemed appropriate with the Authority’s concurrence. Review the ICE/ISE Oversight Review Plan
The PCM Quality Team shall review and verify that the processes identified in the ICE/ISE plans are consistent with the PCM agreement requirements at all stages of the project. And, verify deliverable compliance prior to forwarding to the Authority for their review. Independent Assurance
For this effort, the PCM shall provide qualified independent personnel and equipment to conduct unbiased and independent evaluation of all sampling and testing procedures used to accept materials.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
5 years experience
Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience preferred; including ISO 9001
Attention to detail; organized; process oriented
Familiar with IBM DOORS

Bachelor's degree in in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
