What We're Looking For

The time is right to join HNTB! We are seeking an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Engineer in our Parsippany, NJ office.

Assists assigned department by performing basic engineering-related tasks including research, development, design and delivery on assigned project(s).

Primary Focus Will Include:

• Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects.

• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prepares feasibility studies, reports, and concept of operations documents.

• Develops drawings, details, and specifications for ITS, traffic signal or technology projects.

• Supports ITS system implementation including support for oversight of design, testing, installation

• Reviews design documents and material submittals for ITS, traffic signal, or technology

• projects.

• Participates in the design and implementation of Traffic Management Centers (TMC)

• Remains current on existing and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Prior Intelligent Transportation Systems ( ITS) experience

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
