HNTB Drexel Co-op Engineer - Rail (Fall/Winter) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
What We're Looking For
Our Philadelphia, PA office is seeking a Track Design Co-op Engineer to join our Rail team for the Fall/Winter session.
Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Assist in preparation of design documents for trackwork, including alignments, specifications, criteria, details, and estimates
Assist in preparation of proposals and contracts
Project communications and documentation
Satisfy client requirements and expectations
Coordinate work efforts with others
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Enrollment in Drexel University co-op program
Completion of 2 years of post-secondary Civil engineering program
Emphasis or interest in transportation or structural engineering
Experience with AutoCAD (or MicroStation preferred)
Previous internship or co-op experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
What You'll Need
Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program
