HNTB ROW Specialist in San Jose, California
What We're Looking For
Assists the Permits and ROW Coordinator with organization and documentation around ROW.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Organize files and attend ROW-related meetings, taking minutes and tracking action items.
Prepare ROW verification forms and track signatures.
Prepare weekly activity reports.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
7 years Real Estate/Right of Way experience
What You'll Need
Communicates with property owner(s) to identify property that could be used in public projects.
Negotiates offering price for property.
Reviews property appraisals to assess value of private property for acquisition.
Works with design engineers and staff, reviews highway right-of-way plats, and interprets construction plans to determine where property may need to be acquired.
Networks with government officials and staff to understand public project goals and issues relating to property acquisition.
Pursues modifications of utility rights to create more land for public/project use.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
5 years Real Estate/Right of Way experience
Real Estate Sales or Broker license
