HNTB Project Director in Santa Ana, California
What We're Looking For
Responsible for the profitable operation of large, mega projects.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Delivering large complex Construction Management transportation projects
Manage project staff to ensure project team meets clients expectations
Assist in the development of HNTB's Construction Management Practice
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Engineering
Requires excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills
Requires ability to interface with client as firm representative
What You'll Need
Responsible for managing and delivering mega projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.
Develops and nurtures key client relationships and is the primary company contact on the project.
Identifies and markets additional business opportunities with key clients.
Sets priorities, secure resources and obtain commitment to work according to the project planned with department managers and section heads.
Consistently maintains an overall view for the progress of the assigned project.
Oversees the Project Managers and as a functional manager, to support with the right resources, competencies and tools that are available.
Ensures the achievement of product quality, project targets, budget control and project profitability over the project portfolio.
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or relevant discipline
16 years engineering experience, including directing large mega projects
