HNTB Asset Management Project Manager in Tallahassee, Florida
What We're Looking For
Manages one or more highly complex or enterprise wide asset management programs.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Serves as integrated team member – acting as an Asset Management/Maintenance subject matter expert - for the implementation of sophisticated Enterprise Asset Management systems as well as provide general asset management and related consulting to HNTB clients.
Works as integrated team member – acting as an Asset Management SME, including the implementation of sophisticated Enterprise Asset Management systems.
Leads project tasks such authoring of business documentation around HNTB client work processes related to current and planned maintenance management and asset management.
Provides maintenance management and operations management consulting to HNTB clients nationwide, including asset management studies.
Assists in conducting testing and documentation tasks of Enterprise Asset Management system implementations
Participates in applicable project pursuits as an Asset Management expert; including proposal content authority and interview participation.
Manages projects and/or project tasks of various size and scope types working with a number of public agencies and agency types (tollways/turnpikes, DOTs, transit, ports).
Develops project scopes, fee quotations, schedules, and work plans to facilitate project delivery.
Identifies, leads, and supports strategic sales pursuits.
Develop presentations and communicate highly-technical information with experts in various fields.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience/knowledge in industry leading technologies such as Enterprise Asset Management system that support business improvements to the way public agencies plan, operate and maintain their assets and infrastructure.
Working knowledge of Federal and state guidelines regarding asset management and the desire to stay abreast of the latest guidelines and expectations of Federal agencies such as USDOT, FHWA, FTA and others.
What You'll Need
Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specification and plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
Actively manages project scope, schedule and budget. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction.
Implements the firm’s project delivery plan using HNTB’s Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.
Develops project scope and fee quotation, and assists in the preparation of proposals and contracts.
Coordinates work efforts and reviews of work performed by project team. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.
Oversees project staffing with departments, offices and divisions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree
8 years relevant experience
In lieu of education, 12 years relevant experience
