HNTB Maintenance Program Engineer in Tallahassee, Florida

This opportunity entails being responsible for assisting in developing asset strategies to perform condition-assessment, support life-cycle management, optimize service-life and plan long-term maintenance, rehabilitation and replacement activities. Field work may be required with 25 percent travel expected.
What You'll Do:
Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
Responsible for preparation and/or modification for select portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
Develops project quantities and assists with development of cost estimates.
Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
Able to self-sufficiently complete various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree in Engineering and 1 year of relevant experience
What You'll Bring:
Develops life-cycle models to support project deliverables
Plans and executes asset inventory and condition-assessment tasks
Prepares cost-estimates using a work-breakdown-schedule that estimates resources necessary to support clients’ needs.
Evaluates asset condition and recommend remediation plans; coordinate execution of remediation plans.
Prepares formal research reports based on industry trends/best-practices, subject-matter-expert interviews and other references useful in developing thorough recommendations.
Coordinates technology applications development with internal HNTB technology teams to support clients’ needs.
Displays proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or other software as required for job assignments.
What We Prefer:
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
Maintenance, design, or construction experience preferred.
Technology experience desired in enterprise asset management (EAM software), ESRI/ArcGIS and advanced MS Excel
Familiar with risk management and mitigation strategies.
