This opportunity within our Digital Transformation Solutions team entails being responsible for identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies found in big data sets by performing extensive data analysis to develop insights. Performs data mining, cleaning, and aggregation processes to prepare data, build and implement predictive models, and conduct innovative data analysis. Prepares concise, comprehensive technical reports to present and interpret data, identify alternatives, and make and justify recommendations on data revisions.

What You'll Do:

  • Provides insight into leading analytics practices.

  • Designs and leads iterative learning and development cycles.

  • Produces new and creative analytic solutions that will become core work you’re doing.

  • Develops proficiency with data mining, cleaning, aggregation techniques.

  • Works with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

  • Mines and analyzes large datasets, draw insights from data using statistical techniques.

  • Develops custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.

  • Uses predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.

  • Develops company A/B testing framework and test model quality.

  • Coordinates with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems and 6 years of relevant experience, or

  • Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems and 5 years of relevant experience, or

  • In lieu of education, 10 years of relevant experience.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R or SQL.

  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.

  • Experience with machine learning algorithms such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests etc.

  • Experience with distributed computing tools such as Map/Reduce or Spark.

  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.

What We Prefer:

  • Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems

The approximate pay range for Washington is $91,366.10 - $164,341.85. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
