This opportunity entails providing coordination of project execution and control, in the survey section, to achieve continuity of purpose within scope, budget, and time schedules from initial start-up through project closeout. Accountable for handling specific design aspects on projects appropriate to discipline field. Coordinate efforts of assigned design team to ensure completeness and accuracy of design effort. The ability to understand, perform and mange LiDAR point cloud data. Serve as technical liaison with client on project efforts as required.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for the delivery of project discipline scope elements within budget and schedule.
Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work. Supervises and guides team to overall project objectives.
Provides senior-level technical expertise to client on project aspects within the discipline.
Assist with project management duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Associate Degree
10 years of relevant experience
In lieu of education, 12 years of relevant experience
What We Prefer:
ASPRS Certification with a focus in LiDAR
Indiana Professional Surveyor’s license
Indiana State Drivers License in good standing
Excellent knowledge of Survey mapping, LiDAR systems and data, Location Route Survey Plat creation, Alignments and deed information.
The ability to perform these tasks in MicroStation ,OpenRoads, TopoDOT and Trimble Business Center.
The ability to lead team through survey projects from start to finish and adhere to processes
Produce quality work with attention to detail
Track project schedules and budgets
The want and ability to teach and mentor younger staff
Empathetic towards others and comfortable working in a team environment
