This opportunity entails being responsible for development and configuration of complex SharePoint sites using a comprehensive knowledge of all tiers of the SharePoint application. This position assists in the management of the SharePoint environment to meet requirements for site functionality. Provides ongoing support for SharePoint related issues and inquiries. Assists in the decision-making process for the road map of future SharePoint platforms and technologies.

What You’ll Do: :

  • Assists in architecting, designing, developing, and deploying custom solutions and SharePoint apps to meet business requirements. Architects and builds site collections and sites, including development of custom code where needed to meet complex business requirements.

  • Applies current SharePoint out-of-the-box features combined with .NET technologies to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint server portals. Performs analysis to translate business requirements into technical requirements and demo solutions to key stakeholders.

  • Mentors Level I and II SharePoint Developers.

  • Creates and maintains functional design documents and SOPs, issue logs, and change requests. Utilizes Team Foundation Server to track tasks and store code. Researches existing and emerging technologies to better enhance our SharePoint environments and provide presentations to leadership documenting the benefits of such technologies.

  • Provides solutions for tier 2 and 3 support tickets from SharePoint users throughout company.

  • Leverages knowledge in SharePoint Taxonomy, Metadata, Content Management, Custom Web Parts, Reports, Search, InfoPath Services, Master Pages, Content Types, Features and Active Directory to better position the SharePoint environment to best support the core business.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or related degree and 4 years SharePoint development experience, or

  • In lieu of education, 6 years SharePoint development or IT relevant skills experience

What You'll Bring:

  • Displays a high level of proficiency in SharePoint development. Accurately performs the design, installation and implementation of SharePoint and produces quality work within a given timeline.

  • Makes meaningful contributions to complex projects. Readily leads projects, as appropriate.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and maintains an analytical mindset.

  • Employs effective written and oral communication to facilitate collaboration and progress team goals.

  • Understands the needs of the team and/or department and applies knowledge to assist with defining policies and procedures. Capable of implementing changes that result from policy and procedure development.

What We Prefer:

  • Experience with SharePoint Server and O365 development

  • Experience with SharePoint Server and O365 administration

  • Experience with PowerShell, Power Automate/Apps, SQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
